Hey life... long time no see...
So I was talking to my friend Alyssa about writing more posts. Maybe I should take this time to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year... just in case I can't get to writing more. That way, when you guys check to see if I've written anything in a month, I'll be right on time with my Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. :)
I'm back. Feels great. Life got a little carried away there for a few months. From Passion Play, to Broadway Rocks, to Children of Eden, I've been a whirlwind of Theatre for a while now. And with Passion Play starting early this year, I've got about a month to kick back and enjoy life. And begin...
Children of Eden was one of the best decisions I've made in a while. Yes I know you are noticing a consistent theme here. I always regret doing a show when it first begins and then when it's all over, I'm glad I did it. What can I say, it is how it is. The cast of CoE was great. Rekindling old friendships by establishing new ones... meeting new people for the first time... As OVER as this show is, I have a feeling that it is going to be the start of a whold new world for me. Thank you to everyone that made this experience what it was: People are saying that this was one of the best shows so far... I'm looking forward to raising that bar for the next production. :) Rumor has it that Jesus Christ Superstar might be in the works, but I ain't know to gossip so you ain't heard that from me.
Congratulations to the SHS Marching Band on one of the most successful seasons. I know I wasn't there when you guys starting thing back in August, but I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to work with some amazing people. And now we'll always have something in common: We both have a BANNER. And 4th place at Giants Stadium... placing ONLY .2 behind the 2nd place band, that is remarkable. IF that don't give you a heaping spoonful of
EYES WITH PRIDE, I don't know what will. If everything works out, I hope to be with you next year to. Thank you for making my time with you that much more special.
Kristen, thank you for being my running partner again this year for the
Manchester Road Race. Although we were both struggling from our "pre-race" traditions, we did better than our time last year. Maybe we should consider wearing a big turkey costume next year to help our time out. :) Hope Harry likes his bib, uhh, I mean, Harrison.
Thanksgiving was GREAT this year with everyone... but Mike. I'm sorry you had to work this year brother. We'll have to make up for it on Christmas Eve... you were definitely missed. Great seeing Jack too. Can't wait to spoil you for Xmas. We ate and ate and ate... got a little sample of
Ahab Seamus's new studio album as well. I'll try and get some pictures of our New Hampshire Thanksgiving up here soon.
I'm going to head into the other room to visit now... I have a three hour drive home tonight... then I'm bleeding blue at the Giants Game tomorrow with my fellow icy advisor. All Hail.
Tis the season for the Sam Adams Winter Classics...
