It's not easy being green...
It's already pretty late... but I told Kristen that I would put up a post tonight. So I can't go about disappointing now can I!?!
Let's just say that I slept pretty well last night. After all, at least the Yankees had the decency to lose by a bunch of runs so that the chances of them coming back were slim. The past few days I have stayed up WAY too late watching Baseball and having to deal with work the next day was no picnic. With all that I'm doing these days, I need all the sleep I can get.
For those that haven't visited this little guy's site in a while... here's a little shortcut for you:
Jack Johnson
And for my sister that just might read this... I got your husband's voice mail. Funny though, I don't remember calling him last year when the Yankees beat the Red Sox... or remember calling him when the Yankees were in the World Series in 2000. Hmm... Interesting...
I do however, tip my cap to the Red Sox. If you ask me, the Yankees seemed to go into some warped form of cruise control after Game 3. The bats seemed to slow up a bit... the defense seemed a little sloppy... I don't know what it was. And believe me, it pains me to say that because I'm a die hard Yankee Fan. The Red Sox just seemed to want it more. And now they head on to face the Cardinals. The best time in the National League. So much for Yankees and Astros in 2004.
SURVIVOR UPDATE: Survivor is still going well. I have Amy and Chris this time around. I thought I was going to the SOL during that first episode with Chris already on the chopping block.
CHILDREN OF EDEN UPDATE: Show is going well. November 18th is itching closer and closer... lots of work to cover before then.
BIG WEEKEND. Ruark and Jackie will be in town for the weekend. Gea Ruark. And with my busy ass schedule I've been a horible friend and haven't returned calls. So it'll be good to catch up this weekend. BIG Judo Tournament in Bristol this Saturday sponsered by
Gentle Way Judo Club. Papa Leone is putting a LOT into it. Hope everything goes well... Then you have the
UConn Homecoming Game vs. Temple @ the Rent. (Yes, that's me on the UConn Homecoming site). Dust of the trumpet and rock out... then from there I'm headed back home for the
Music of the Knight.
Damn... with all of that going, i'd better get some rest.
GOOD LUCK IN YOUR RACE ON SUNDAY KRISTEN!!! 10 FREAKIN' MILES - YOU ARE MY IDOL!
Later y'all...
Can you take me higher?...
