Is there a thing as blogger's etiquette? Well, if there is...I apologize to my newest blogging buddy, Anna. Wait who am I kidding...You're my FIRST friend on this. Technically I wouldn't have met you had it not been for my sister...So anyway, you wrote me a very nice email and what did I do? I didn't even get my lazy bones on my page to write you back. Sheesh...What a friend I am. So without further adieu... this blog's for YOU!
I'll be perfectly honest, I'm still not quite sure about this whole blogging thing. I think I'm still in the early stages. But every now and again, I do get the urge and think to myself, "That would be AWESOME on my PAGE!" So maybe I'm still a closet blogger...
COUNTDOWN TO MICHIGAN: 6 DAYS. That's right Anna, I'm going to be in your backyard! Well, I'm not really sure how close I'll be to you. I'm off to visit my cousin Nick in New Baltimore. I talked to him the other day and MAN am I excited seeing as this is my FIRST trip to Michigan. I will definitely have pictures on here when I get back... oh no. It's happening. My mind is slowly getting into blog-mode. Muust. Fight. Can't....let......it.... con...trol...me.....
In my mind, Thursdays just don't exist. Think about it. When some says, "What's today?" You immediately think, "The day before Friday." Well, I think that way.
I'm just spitting out random thoughts...I'm tempted to just erase part of my entry here and start over because it's not making much sense. Nope. Not gonna do it. I will weather the storm and finish my blog entry!
Like I said before, I am still trying to get a comment system up and running so my two blog readers can comment (or are there more of you out there..?) ... Yaccs is still down eventhough it says it'll be up by Aug. 1st...(Can you tell I'm anxious to get it up and running?)
I got it! What I wanted to talk about yesterday...AND it'll lead right into my grand finale. After my Aunt Connie visit I started getting an interest in old photos. Then my Uncle Roland asked my dad for some old pictures. So then my dad and I started checking out old pictures. So much fun. Needless to say, I'm on an old pictures kick...Each one telling a story. I even found out stuff about my dad that I NEVER knew. I know! I'm freakin' 21 and still learning stuff about him. It's always fun too hearing my Uncle and my dad go off with their, "Remember whens..." Then they just start cracking up together (Can you hear the laugh Care?)...Priceless.

I have an Aunt Connie. I hope you do too...
I work your everyday job. In at 7:30, out by 4:45. Sometimes my Aunt Connie stops by to say hello. And when she comes it's BREAK time! She's such a hard worker. And
ALWAYS in good spirits. She helps out with a GOOD portion of the picture taking that goes on around here. Always coming from somewhere, always goes to somewhere. I hardly see her slow down. My grandmother says she's 80-something going on 21. She comes in every time bearing pictures...some new, some old...I couldn't help but post some on my blog page. If you look over to the left, you'll notice a NEW picture of my family(a la Aunt Connie). Well, NEW picture to my page, but taken probably around 1985-86. Yes, my family and I are wearing matching shirts. Might as well be red jump suits...
So my Aunt Connie, at the age of 80-something runs around like an excited teenager after the final period bell rings at the end of a high school day. Taking her pictures and recalling the old ones. So many memories...so many captured moments caught on film...
I have an Aunt Connie. I hope you do too...
Happy Tuesday everyone.

What a weekend. Hours spent sleeping = 5...
From Friday, 12 noon to Sunday, 12 noon, The Uconn Marching Band ran a CoffeeBreak at a nearby rest stop. For those that aren't sure what that is, you offer free bagels, donuts, muffins, coffee, juice, tea, hot chocoalte, etc to travelers passing through...for no cost what-so-ever. Strictly on a donation basis...you operate AROUND the clock. 48 hrs. Let me tell you.. after getting up @ 3 am two days in a row...it gets tiring. But we made it through...and made a lot of $$$ in the process...
On Saturday I spend the day at Six Flags New England (formerly Riverside). My friend Kevin, his cousin Brian and myself rode roller coasters: all day long. From
Superman - RIDE OF STEEL to
Batman - THE DARK KNIGHT, we rode as much as we could.
Total trips on the day = 9 coasters. We decided to have a little fun with the camera that takes your picture while you are on the ride. So while everyone is scream and looking straight ahead, we decided to "pose" as best we could. Take a look...
We had so much fun. Needless to say, we were beat by the time the park closed @ 11pm. What a day...
T.G.I...M? Hardly...
Three weeks and counting before you know who reports for Preseason @
University of Conn...See you tomorrow...
I'll try and set up a comment system soon. Just in case anyone IS actually reading this...
