Only at ESPN...

I'm not saying that I wouldn't dress up if I worked anywhere else. But I think working at the worldwide leader in sports just adds to the effectiveness. Efficiaous... if you will. I mean picture yourself going to work on a lonely Friday, October 29th. You're tired, anxious to get to the weekend. Just watching the clock waiting for it to hit 5:00pm, or whatever time you get out... and this guy comes to deliver a package to you:



I love it. Comments from all over... Who knows how long I'll be able to get away with dressing up like this... so for the time being, I'm all in.

My dad once said, Always leave them laughing. Maybe that's my insentive to dress up the way I do on the Friday before Halloween. I hope I made a few people laugh. What's one dress up day out of the whole year?



And how could I possibly put in an entry without the mention of last nights festivities.

CLASS FOUR OPEN STATE CHAMPIONS WITH A SCORE OF 93.3!!!!

What a night... going up against to of the more difficult CT bands in Trumbull and especially Waterford. You knew going in that it was going to be close no matter what. Trumbull took one caption award... while us and Waterford won two each: Best Drumline and Colorguard for Waterford and Best Music and Visual Effect for Southington. Then we waited in anticipation for the placement scores to be read. 92.00 for Trumbell, 92.75 for Waterford, and 93.3 for your Champion Blue Knights. The kids worked real head all week. This was their 3rd show in as many days. They put in the effort and look what came of it. My Congratulations to anyone in the band and color guard that might happen to come across this page.

Two more weeks left in the season... lookout Bunnell and Giants Stadium, the Blue Knights are coming to town.

As for me today, all sorts of stuff before the parents get home. Two more weeks left in the FALL INTO FOOTBALL competition @ ESPN. The winning team that logs in enough hours at the gym walks away with free ipod minis. Look out motivation, here I come.
