Take 2... I'm also realizing that I should be saving my posts BEFORE I post them... I just had a decently-sized post with bells and whistles Then with a push of a button, I get error messages. Gone-ski. "Up and gone like a fart in the wind." - Shawshank Redemption. So here's my attempt to recreate what I once had...

So my cousins visited yesterday and yes... we watched Goonies. What can I say, it's a classic.

"Our parents, they do what's right for us...because it's their time, THEIR time...up there. Down here it's, our time, it's OUR time down here. That's all over the second we ride up Troy's bucket." (cue music...naaa naa naaa naa (look)naaaa naaa naaa naaa(look)...etc)

So you've seen Goonies over and over again. You can quote the movie... you have your "favorite scenes"... You even remember the Spanish part with Mouth and Rosalita enough though you had no clue what he was saying when you were a kid...(or maybe that's just me). Anyway...I present to you a CHALLENGE. Introducing the BEST Quiz. GOONIES TRIVIA!!! So step up to the plate. Come on! What else do you have to do on Friday anyway?!? If I get enough responses, perhaps I'll POST the results!

As you can see I added a bunch of links. Music...Up and coming talented groups...jazz links...uconn links...etc. Some of my most favorite groups currently. I already have the new Dave Matthews CD - Busted Stuff and the new Counting Crows - Hard Candy. Both are pretty good so far. The uconn links are some of my interested as I head into my last year. Where did the time go... You'll notice I'm in the Marching Band and I am also a Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi. Currently, I am the President of the UCMB (UConn Marching Band) and the webmaster for the music-based co-ed fraternity. I designed a graphic for my "Prospective Member" class...Beta Xi. For those that don't read Greek, the jibberish on the bottom translates to:

"You may be disappointed if you FAIL, but you are doomed if you don't TRY."



So I'm constantly changing this and that... I apologize for not having a comment system up and running. I know Yaccs will be down until Aug. 1st at least. Oh well... feel free to drop me a email in the meantime...T.G.I.F.!!!

To the lucky individual that stumbled onto my blog...let's play a game called, "What did I do this morning?"

#1. Had a very busy morning at work only to find that the blog fairy decided to update my page with more links, a background and some color shading?

-or-

#2 Neglected to apply myself in ANY way toward "doing work" and spent my entire morning trying to fix up my blog page because I have truly have nothing to do at work. And thanx to my WONDERFUL SISTER, am finding that I am more or less hooked.

I'm off to a decent start. Got my lunch packed up...my shoes tied tight...I hope I don't get in a fight. For all of your Billy Madison fans out there. Speaking of movies, I think I'll start my blogging career with a movie that I grew up with.
