The Michigan Invasion Tour...
Four Leones in the same house... look out. My cousin Nick and Uncle Roland are out from Michigan and so far, we are having an AWESOME time. They came in on Tuesday and will be staying until Monday of next week. Great times. So far, we've managed to leave a substantial donation at Mohigan Sun...but all in good fun. At least Uncle Roland came out a winner. It's definitely nice to have these guys out to visit. Once a year deal kind-of-thing...
So tonight I managed to gather up some motivation and decided to hit up a local pub. The Half Door on Sisson Ave. per the request of Laura Q. Definitely a good choice, Laura. So myself, Nick and Laura fired it up at a local IRISH pub. Good drinks... good spirits... and I picked up a few new Italian words. Thanx to Prof. Pronto Nick Leone over here...
By the way... the job search is OVER!!! Lookout mailroom here I come. Yes folks, I'm the latest addition to the worlds greatest sports network, ESPN. I start on Aug. 11th in the mailroom. It's a great opportunity...and most importantly, a foot in the door. Lots of possibilities in this place. I'm sure I'll keep everyone posted on my status throughout the year...
So now I need to get some rest... two shows tomorrow for Summer Theatre...Whoa nelly. Take care everyone...until next time.
The thing MOST dearest to you will come true in time. (Fortune cookie that Nick got tonight...)

Just when you think it was safe to read my blog...Pop Quiz.
So what do you get when you take:

After a blogging drought...
I'm back. Sorry to upset all of my readers. It's been an interesting few weeks.
Highs and Lows...but I'm only here to focus on the
positives. The wedding that I went to last weekend was wonderful. Everyone was all spiffed up in tuxes, dresses, suits...and everyone was in good spirits. It's hard to find the words that can describe the feeling you get. I mean, to be a part of such a memorable occasion in someone's life...you can't describe it. It's just a great feeling. I was honored to play Trumpet Voluntary as the bride(Tara) was walked down the aisle by her father. The entire weekend was nice. Visiting, joking, laughing, crying...
moments we'll always cherish.
As I left Kristen's house on Sunday, I had two voice mails on my cell phone. The first was my mom:
It's 10 am. Your sister is in labor. The moment we've been waiting for! The second voice mail was my sister, Care.
Hi Ant. Your godson says hello. Waiting for you to come up and visit him. WHOA MAMA! W-w-w-hat? Did you said, GODSON? That would make me the GODFATHER? I was overwhelmed. So on
July 20th @ 10:40am, the world welcomed
Jack Paul Johnson with open arms. My nephew. My godson. Thank you God.
So after a few days up in Biddeford, ME, I headed back to CT. Maine was great. Got to visit with Ruark who is working in Ogunquit for the remaining weeks of the summer. And I was able to catch up with Kat.
Gotta love Martels. Next time I'm up, Kat...we're going again. :)
Then is weekend came.
Coffee Break city. I think I'm in like UCMB denial or something. It almost feels like I'm still in the band. So from 12:00 Friday to 12:00 Sunday ran their Coffee Break. I had a great time this weekend. I was even fortunate enough to have Kelly join me @ the beach on Saturday.
BEAUTIFUL DAY.
Did you notice my haircut?
Oh, now I see.
Does it look long or short to you?
It looks short.
That's because I got a haircut.
Absolutely histerical...some people just never cease to amaze me. Here's another one:
I don't think I'm going to get the clam chowder.
You guys are from UConn?
I'm not looking forward to the traffic driving home.
Yeah I have family there.
Whelp, see ya later.
I was serious about that clam chowder, you know.
And yes, that was the ACTUAL conversation. Histerics. So after I filled my carb quota for the next few weeks: Donuts, Bagels, ...ullll. I finally made it home today. Nice work guys...And I'm certain that this is my last Coffee Break. No more all nighters on the side of the highway for this "old fart."
So as I nod off to sleep I'm looking forward to another packed week. Summer Theatre rehearsals everyday. Nick and Uncle Roland flying in on Tuesday. Mom heads off to Maine for two weeks.
Plenty of stuff to focus on.
And with my
chin up, and my
eyelids falling...good night moon.
One day at a time...Praying for strength...
