The more I talk, the less I can't stop...
I'm not very good about stay in touch with my friends. A good friend of mine took the time to remind me about that the other night. I don't know what it is. I just need to organize my time better I think. I mean, yes, I work a LOT. 5 days...sometimes 6 days a week and days are 10 hours long for me. But I come home and certain days you do this... and certain days you do that. But no matter what it is you do, there always a LIST of things you didn't get to. Case and point - THIS BLOG! My room is upside down, I didn't get to work out today, and I haven't picked up my trumpet in months. In yet, I don't know where the time goes. I find that when people hop online for that brief period of time when I check my mail I can catch up with a few of them. That's about it. My life is made up of Working Out, Judo, Softball, Acting, ESPN, and Computering... I NEED to get some trumpet in there soon. It's been too long.
Back to my point, I'm sorry for those that read this that I fail to keep in touch like I used to. Being apart from everyone makes things a little more difficult and sometimes, I have to settle for an email just to keep in touch. I was fortunate enough to see a lot of people @ Sara's Graduation Party this weekend. Haven't seen her grandparents in so LONG!! And it was awesome seeing everyone too... makes me look forward to Football season when tailgating will be a week to week ritual.
I guess what I'm driving at is patience. Make the effort and effort will be returned. My apologies to this person that has given me effort and I'm the ass for not returning the favor. Lucky for me, she's a patience person. (I hope...)
A quick update of where I am now... ESPN Mail Services. But I'm in such a different spot then I was a few months ago. I've been in contact with several different people regarding jobs in the .COM department. As it stands, nothing is available but that's alright. My position in the mailroom is getting more and more involved and I'm very comfortable about where I am right now. Thanx to an awesome presentaion a few weeks ago, a ESPN Mail Services website is in the works. We did a HUGE Cost Savings Analysis of ESPN and things are already paying off... Eric, DJ, and I spent last Sunday at the Yankee game versus the Padres. Wait, you mean, you were at the game where there was two outs in the bottom of the 9th and Matsui and Kenny Loften hit back to back home runs to tie the game only to lose the lead in the 12 and then TAKE BACK the lead and win it 6-5 in the BOTTOM of the 12th????
Yeah, I was there...
545 Pride.
And just so you know, I DID in fact send out a Survivor application right before the deadline.
Hey... you never know... I'll keep y'all posted on my 1,000,000,000 to 1 shot chances...
So what's a entry without a update of that little guy from Maine. Yes sir, Jack Johnson is approaching is FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!! July 20th baby look out. Not to mention two of my sisters' birthdays fall in July as well. I need to put some money aside! So July will no doubt be full of mini trips. Perhaps a quick one up to New Hampshire or Maine if I can manage... I know I'll be Boston bound next weekend to visit Mezzetti for the
Incubus concert... Actually now that I think about it... I'm hitting up a lot of concerts next month... Incubus this Saturday,
Ben Folds/Guster/Rufus Wainwright 7/10, then
DMB 7/17... EXCELLENT!!!
I'm off to a good start. Time for Bed and a brand new day tomorrow. Ciao.
I don't know where I'm going... but I'll know when I'm there...
